Our Mission

We seek to be a Church without walls, welcoming all and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through witness, engagement and action in our community.

September 2020
Dear Friends,
When you arrive at the Church for the Sunday service you will notice some differences. We hope that the following information will help to prepare you for what to expect.
Before you come to church you should assess the risk to yourself and make your decision based on that.
We will be operating a one-way system of entry and exit.
Please enter the building by the rear door.
You may have to queue outside the church if a few people arrive at the same time. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed into the Church building. If over 50 arrive then the welcome team will make arrangements for dedicated seating in the Hall.
It is important to maintain social distance and wear a face covering. If you do not have one there will be spare disposable masks available.
Once inside the building you will be asked to provide contact details – full name and contact telephone number – in line with track and trace guidelines. You may wish to bring these with you on a piece of paper so that everyone can get into the building more quickly.
On arrival you will be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided – or you can bring your own. Your collection should be placed in the plate at the entrance to the church as you come in. You may wish instead to set up a standing order so that you do not need to carry cash. The elders on duty can give you the necessary details.

Once inside designated seats have been clearly marked.
Please only sit in the seats that show the ‘please sit here’ sign.
Family groups are permitted to sit together but please follow the instructions of the welcome team. We will be seating people from the rear to the front of the Church.
At the end of the service the rear seats will exit first through the main door.
If you wish to exit at the rear door then please remain in your seats until others have left.
There will be no teas and coffee after the service until further notice.
Please do not congregate outside the church on leaving and maintain social distancing.
If you or a member of your household show symptoms of Covid-19 please self-isolate and book a test. If you develop symptoms after attending Church, again self-isolate and book a test. Please also notify the Session Clerk – Val Rose.
We all realise that this is not the Church service we are used to, but it is important that we all follow the guidelines to protect one another and stay safe.
If you have any concerns or questions please contact the Minister, the Rev. Dawn A. Laing or Session Clerk, Val Rose.
